BHDP Assorted Work
Note that this section shows some of the main projects I worked on during my internship at BHDP Architecture, but does not cover everything. Additionally, some projects had to be stripped down to follow client policy.
Cincinnati Office Mural Series
Develop a series of murals for a Fortune 500 client as part of their office redesign. Specific focus on themes of growth, motherhood, womanhood, empowerment, etc.
Development
First Mural
The first finalized design used floral shapes, a ‘fingerprint’ effect on photography, and natural colors as the core elements of the composition.
Mural System
Using the first design as a base, the same core elements were used with different palettes, images, and compositions to create a system of murals that function both individually and as a complete set.
Final Elevations
San Juan Mural
Mural concepts representing Puerto Rican/San Juan region and culture. Project ongoing.
Full Elevation
Office Wall Activations
Concepts for office walls of a Fortune 500 home/fabric care company. Project ongoing.
Concept 1, Felt Forms
Clean grids, modular forms, and simplified illustrations combine with tactile felt textures, soft-edged shapes, and a muted color palette to create a design that feels both sophisticated and approachable to those occupying the space.
Concept 2, Home Flow
Linear forms morph and flow, creating the illusion of fabrics in the home - curtains, clothes, etc. Represents both home and fabric care, reminding viewers of the beauty around them in everyday objects.
Concept 3, Welcome Home
Bright colors, biophilia, wood, and fabric create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere. Designs inspired by classic quilt patterns incorporate brand into recognizable, simplistic symbols of home.
Concept 4, Clean Rain
References the gentle rhythm of falling raindrops through vertical pilll shapes as a primary motif. Vibrant colors and overlapping, cascading geometry create energy in the space with varying levels of complexity.
